HART Prize for Human Rights 2013 Winners of 2014 Essay Competition. The four runners-up (two from each age category) from the Essay competition will have their essays published online on HART’s website. The essays must be entirely your own work. All Senior Essays must be properly referenced, using your own preferred referencing style. Footnotes, citations and bibliography are not included.

Essay Competition Successes Congratulations to two Bancroftians who have both been placed second in leading essay prizes. Ben Norris obtained second place in the Kelvin Science essay competition with a discussion entitled “There is no such thing as electron deficient compounds, only theory deficient Chemists.” He attended the prize giving at Peterhouse College, Cambridge on 24 July.
Erasmus Essay Competition On Monday morning (17 September) some of Haileybury’s most able Sixth Form pupils sat the Erasmus Philosophy Essay Competition. This is the first year that Haileybury has entered the Erasmus Competition and entrants from Haileybury will compete against pupils from other schools including Winchester, Rugby, Oundle, City of London for Boys and Wycombe Abbey.
The International Road Federation is pleased to announce the winners for the IRF Student Essay Competition. The competition, open to member universities; gave students the opportunity to share their views on a variety of issues affecting road and highway related transported. Submissions were received on themes such as asset management; ITS; pavement materials; sustainability; and road safety.
